Vehicle Registration and Safety Inspection

Everyone knows that speeding or running a stop sign makes for an easy ticket from the police, so people tend to watch how they drive. However, have you ever given much thought to those things that don’t catch your eye regularly—your vehicle registration (license plate) and the Virginia state inspection? Well, the cops do.

As part of our ongoing education campaign, we urge all drivers to perform a walk-around their vehicle every time they get behind the wheel. It helps remind you of those easily dismissed or forgotten tasks of renewing plates and inspections. And getting these tasks done is an easy way to avoid getting stopped and ticketed.
